Day 15: Onwards to Limone Sul Garda and then a short stroll back to a great hotel

But first more of Florence, the hotel was ideal, right in the heart of the Jewish quarter 

This morning we bought a ticket for the Duomo museum, and it was just stunning - we decided that although the statue of David was of interest there was more to see about the history of Florence and the Duomo.  

It was a beautiful museum, and so interesting to see how the Dumo was gradually built.

We will come back to see the Ponta Vecchio.

After we left Florence / Firenze we then had a lovely drive through Tuscany before a hot drive to Limone Sul Garda, which is on the banks of Lake Garda which is just breathtaking! 

Huge mountains and a massive crystal lake! Stunning! 

Hotel fab and right on the lake - plus an ‘interesting’ drive on twisty tunnels and roads!

We Then went for a short stroll and had a lovely meal in a restaurant with just the best view!
