a few reflections on the trip so far...

We have covered 1730 miles so far In our 2008 Mark 3 Mazda MX5 (Rob at Diss Car Centre, it's a cracker!!).

We have been through these countries so far:

Luxembourg 🇱🇺 

Germany 🇩🇪 

Austria 🇦🇹 

France (again) 🇫🇷 

Italy 🇮🇹 

So 7 so far....

The most exciting driving day was through the Dolomites

We have reached Martina Franca, in Puglia, at the heel of Italy, where we are taking 4 days in a lovely property with a pool to see and get to know the area better.

From here we head North, via:

The Amalfi coast

Florence

Sienna

Milan

Chamonix

Thiat, to spend time with friends to celebrate Bernadette's birthday

Orleans

Calais, where we rejoin the Tunnel

on a trip like this you realise more and more that the journey matters more than the destination and the people you share the experience with matter greatly...

I am a very lucky man.
