Day 14: Florence
We had a long and hot drive to Florence, but WOW! It was well worth the effort! We stayed at a very pretty villa with a pool and excellent air conditioning, just a 10 minute walk from the AMAZING Duomo, we went out to eat, then had a wander and as we approached the Duomo from the rear there were two violinists playing Vivaldi, then when we went to the front Facade there was a young man singing opera to the crowd, it was quite magical.
