I worked with and for Dave and Bernadette in Norfolk in a handful of youth work roles and we were able to spend a lot of time together. I will always be greatful for their encoragemrnt and support to undertake my youth and community work Degree and get some outdoor education qualifications.
That was over twenty years ago and we have all got together for Bernadette's 60th birthday celebrations this week.
We drove here from Chamonix yesterday and it was pleasantly cooler in the car.
Supper last night was fun and we all sat eating and talking outside.
