Luckily hotel is lovely and air conditioned, so very refreshing! Dinner in hotel restaurant, had carbonara, no cream in sight and absolutely delicious! Ian had the local Pinot Grigio, was lush, I had a Havana club and coke needed a long drink after a mega 9 hour journey with breaks - one of which as an amazing breakfast that did us for a lunch break too! Tomorrow it’s Venice and Murano!! Welcome to the start of our Italian Job!

Day 5 - The Italian Job
Well what a drive!! Long day on the road, Alps, Dolomites (bucket list ticked!) rain storm on switch back- hairpin bend - Road for miles up and down the Dolomites! Well done Ian - heart in stomach in places!! Suddenly over the mountains and into HEAT!! blooming ‘eck! It’s hot hot hot!
