day 3, heading for the mountains!

An early start this morning to try getting ahead of the hot midday heat as it is forecast to be 34 degrees around lunchtime 🥵 

It was lovely driving through the cool early morning on Country lanes as we head towards Karlsruhe, where we have decided to stop for both types of fuel!! Petrol topped up, windscreen cleaned as it was a little streaky and there was a lovely cafe / bakery at the petrol station.

Then onto the faster roads to munch some miles, as we need to get to the campsite near Salzburg before 3.00 this afternoon otherwise they might cancel our pitch!!

Looking forward to a few days on a campsite to kick back a little, have a few beers then unpack and repack the car (as we will have the tent up), so that things are just where we need them!
