Lazy last day in Thiat

Today we went …… nowhere! 

We stayed at the gite, and just strolled down to the local bar for lunch, spot of laundry and a good book,  chatting to friends, laying in the sun - a quiet day in prep for the journey tomorrow to Orleans then to the tunnel on Sunday, nearing the end of our European extravaganza now!

The reason we are in Thiat with friends is it is Bernadette’s 60th - Her family have beautifully decorated the table for her celebration!

A great party, kazoo music, lots of champagne and laughter! Ian and I went to bed a little earlier than some who continued to drink a whole bottle of port!
